Allison McDonald. In 2010, I completed the Neuropsychoidiology Life Coaching Program established by Dr. Amanda Wintink, PhD, RYT. The program appealed to me due to its unique composition of neuroscience, coaching, yoga and so much more. To further my skills and knowledge I am currently enrolled in the U-Experience Program at The Centre for Applied Neuroscience. I am writing a thesis paper for the program with a focus on mindful creativity. I have a varied level of training and experience in an assortment of artistic mediums including music, dance, photography, digital media and more. I have experienced procrastination, lack of focus, stress, anxiety, loss, and learned valuable lessons from all of them. My personal development and connection with my creative self has been rewarding and empowers me to be authentic. I have also been practicing yoga, meditation and mindfulness for a number of years. I feel passionate about meditation and it's ability to be accessible to everyone since there are so many different ways to develop your own practice.

INTRODUCTION TO ANSUARA YOGA
Stepping into the Currents of Grace: A Weekend of Anusara Yoga with Barrie Risman

When we align with the highest in ourselves, the yoga practice becomes a transformative and joyful expression of this expansive inner feeling.
In this workshop, we will explore the key elements that make up the Anusara Yoga system. Topics will include the elegant and concise set of Universal Principles of Alignment and some of the central philosophical ideas that form the foundation of Anusara yoga.

FAMILY CONSTELLATION workshop
with Ursula Bayer- Klum
Use Systemic Constellations to answer such questions as:• why am I not happy with my job
• would a divorce be a good solution for us, now
• how can I live with my chronic illness
During the course of the workshop participants will learn about B. Hellinger and his method of
setting up family & systemic constellations. Individual questions will be answered by setting up a
constellation. It is not necessary to bring along family members.
The work is typically done in groups. Group members are chosen to represent family members
and are positioned intuitively by the participant, including a representative for him or herself.
Hereby an energy field is established and representatives then begin to feel actual feelings of
those family members they are representing.
By looking at how people are positioned and asking how they feel the facilitator can begin to see
where the system may be out of order. Hidden dynamics which have led to the disruption of the
order can be uncovered. The facilitator then experiments with moving people around and possibly
bringing in more people until the order comes back into balance and the heart opens. When the
heart opens in this way, the whole group feels it as a very deep and moving experience. It is as if
the soul finally comes home.
Healing sentences are spoken, missing members are honored and love can flow freely once more.
Participants can renew the inner picture of the place in the family and in life. Often this experience
has a lasting effect on relationships, personal growth and health.
"I believe that every person facing a challenge has the potential to find a good solution within themselves. I see myself as an assistant, helping the student to identify the challenge, clarify their goals and support their movement towards the solution, in order to enjoy and appreciate a satisfying & meaningful life."
Date: June 3, 2012
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Cost: $120 plus tax
After working as a Biologist in a laboratory in Germany for many years while raising her family, Ursula was ready for a change. This led her to retrain in Psychotherapy in Germany and France, focusing on holistic methods including deep breathing, meditation, family and systemic constellations.
Ursula operated a successful German private practice before coming to Canada in 2000 where she has been treating clients as a therapist and counselor ever since. In June 2009, Ursula expanded her services once again by becoming a certified Hatha Vinyasa Yoga teacher.
