We invite students to work within their own level of challenge in all of our classes, however some classes are paced at a more challenging level than others.
Beginner
Beginners might like to begin with a "basics" class. "Basics" classes and "specialty" classes offer more instruction and help you to ease into the higher level classes by introducing the movements, sequences and poses explored at TAYS.
There are 2 types of "basics" classes: "Power Basics", and
"Hatha Basics" classes. The "Power" classes have more focus on working with the energy and breath of the body to assist in deepening of the postures. The "Hatha" classes have more focus on details and alignment in the easier levels and become more physically challenging at the "Hatha Vinyasa" level.
Intermediate to advanced
Intermediate to advanced practitioners might like to attend hatha vinyasa classes, power hour classes or advanced power classes.
All levels
Individuals at various levels might like to attend hatha aligned classes.
All of our specialty classes are open to individuals of all levels.
Self paced
If you would like to slow things down even further you could begin with a one on one session with one of our senior teachers Mike Munro, or Maxine Munro would be pleased to meet with you to help you ease into yoga. This would be a wonderful choice if you would like a personal home routine developed or if you would just like to ease into the practice of yoga with individual tips and assistance. Yoga Studio |
