***ADMISSIONS - YTT 200 HOUR PROGRAM***

Admission Requirements - 200 Hour YTT

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Applicants must have a Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. Minimum 1 year of serious yoga study and practice. Student applicants need not be "advanced" students but should have a dedication to practice and have a sincere interest in deepening their own practice and/or becoming yoga teachers.

Graduates

Students will graduate from the 200-hour program as Certified Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teachers and will receive a certificate confirming such. Mike and Maxine and Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio are registered through Yoga Alliance and are recognized as offering the minimum standards required to educate and teach yoga students to become yoga teachers. This is an internationally recognized registry.

Admission Schedule

A minimum and maximum number of registrants will be accepted. Suitable applicants will be accepted into the program on a first come, first served basis.

Please include your $500 deposit (cheque, VISA or MC number and expiry) when submitting your application in order to be considered in the program. Once you are accepted into 200 hour YTT program, this deposit will be cashed.

Tuition Fees (Canadian dollars) - YTT 200 hour program

$2900.00 + tax

Payments are as follows:

1. Cheque/Visa/MC made out to T. A. Y. S. $500 - This is a non-refundable deposit. This deposit must accompany your application in order for your application to be considered. This deposit will not be cashed unless you are accepted into the YTT program by the directors.
2. Cheque/VISA or MC made out to T. A. Y. S. $2777. Due one week (7 days) before the first day of the program or can be paid out over the duration of the program by request (by post dated cheques only.) For payment plan: initial amount $500 deposit then 4 post dated cheques $704.25 each on October 1st, December 1st, February 1st and April 1st). This includes $40 charge for arranging payment plan.

   The tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Admission Requirements

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Applicants must have a Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. 200 YTT certificate from TAYS
   or
   a 200 YTT certificate from a yoga alliance approved non-TAYS school

2. what you hope to learn from the 500 hour program.

Please include your $300 deposit (cheque, VISA or MC number and expiry) when submitting your application in order to be considered in the program. Once you are accepted into YTT program, this deposit will be cashed and applied towards the costs of the program.

Tuition Fees (Canadian dollars)

Total cost: $3870 + tax for all segments of 500 hour YTT training. However each workshop or course can be paid for separately over the duration of the training. Breakdown of course fees listed below.

Payments are as follows:

$300 deposit - This is a non-refundable deposit. This deposit fee goes towards your mentoring fees. This deposit will not be cashed unless you are accepted into the YTT 500 hour program.

Generally the YTT 500 hour courses are completed over a 2 year period. Course fees are detailed below:

1. Grounding - $200 (plus tax)
2. Core - $200 (plus tax)
3. Opening - $200 (plus tax)
4. Integration - $200 (plus tax)
5. "The Yoga Workshop" - $200 (plus tax)
6. Yoga Assists (15 hours) - 2 days - $100 each= $200 (plus tax)
7. Meditation and Philosophy - 2 days - $100 each= $200 (plus tax)
8. Prenatal/Post-Natal Certification - $230 (plus tax)
9. Yoga Anatomy - 2 days - $100 each= $200 (plus tax)
10. Restorative Yoga - 2 days - $100 each= $200 (plus tax)
11. Eight Limbs of Yoga - $200 (plus tax)
12. Embodying the Practice 1 and 2. - 2 courses - $535 each= $1070 (plus tax)
13. Personal yoga project- no charge
14. Written exam - $100 (plus tax)
15. Practical test class - $100 (plus tax)
16. Mentoring (10 hours) - $300 (plus tax) - paid for by initial deposit
